Meeting first at 16 changed both their lives, but Sage and Ashton don't meet again until years later when she's a single mom and he's a player used to charming his way through all the women. This time, though, he might have found the one who will stick, if he can convince her he's not that way anymore, and if the two most important people in her life can let him into their lives.
Ashton and Sage are adorable together. He is less broody than his friend, Leo (from the first installment, The Kiss), and is the life of the party. I love how protective and sweet he was with Sage from their very first meeting, and how hard he tried with her kids, no matter how much attitude they threw his way. Speaking of them, they're the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars, as they put me off a bit, especially Haiden, with their obnoxious attitudes and too adult sounding dialogue. Other than them, though, I thought The Fling was really enjoyable - fun, sexy, and lighthearted.
