BLURB
Cass
Real love is an illusion that left me heartbroken and a single mother. I tried, failed, and am finally picking up the pieces. No one will convince me I need to give love another chance, especially not the sexy as sin pilot who attempts to do just that. He is annoying and won’t go away. Why won’t he take a hint? And why am I letting him get under my skin? I should just forget him, but for some reason, I can’t. His ice-blue eyes are destroying the walls of protection around my heart.

Ace
As a pilot, I live for the rush of flying thousands of feet into the air. I didn’t do relationships. The word commitment was not part of my vocabulary. I had fun, played the field, and did whatever I wanted, but one weekend with her changed everything. I couldn’t forget her. Cass is guarded, but I can see over her walls. She’s afraid and hurt, but I won’t let that stop me. I plan on healing her heart and winning over her and her son, and unlike the idiot who let her go, I never will.

Flirtatious Flyboy is a single parent romance inspired by Playboy Pilot.

MY REVIEW
Cass is not about to give love a chance to break her heart again, not after her experiences. Then she meets a gorgeous pilot who's tempting her to let him past her defenses. Can Ace be the one to show her what real love can be? Or is he hiding something she will never forgive him for keeping from her?

I loved this addition to the Cocky Hero Club! Cass and Ace were so good together, once she decided to finally give him the time of day. Their circle of friends was the best - giving them support and helping them to see just how good they could be together, helping them figure out their issues. They both grew so much, especially Cass as she learned to trust in a man again. And Ace was the perfect man for her - protective, alpha without being a jerk about it. The perfect guy to break through her walls and give her the love she and her son deserved.

Maria Vickers is a bestselling and award-winning author who currently resides in St. Louis, MO with her pug, Spencer Tracy. She has always had a passion for writing and after she became disabled in 2010, she decided to use writing as her escape. Life is about what you make of it, you have to live it to the fullest no matter the circumstances.

From a young age, she has always loved books and even dreamed of being an author when she was younger. Growing up in the Navy, she used to weave tales for her siblings and her friends about anything and everything. And when she wasn't creating her own stories, she had a book in her hand. They transported her to another world. She hopes that her readers will have the same experience when reading her stories, and that, in some way, they can relate to her characters.

Getting sick changed her life forever, but it also opened doors for her that she thought would always be out of reach.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
