Review / Release Blitz: Promise to Love You (Wild to Love #5) by J. Saman

Promise to Love You by J. Saman is now live!
Henry Gauthier: Bassist. Gorgeous. My brother’s best friend. And my first love.
He's also the man I grew to hate him after a one-night stand went horribly wrong. I've spent the last three years successfully dodging him like a bullet.
Now, fresh out of a bad relationship and living in a new city, I finally feel like I’m starting to get myself together. And when an opportunity to produce Wild Minds’ newest album presents itself, I can’t help but jump at the chance of a lifetime. Even if it comes with a caveat.
Three weeks in Hawaii, an impossible to meet deadline, and Henry Gauthier.
***
Eden Dawson: Spitfire. Stunning. My best friend’s sister. And the bane of my existence.
I’ll be the first to admit three years ago I messed up. I shouldn’t have touched her.
Sort of like now. Because my best friend, my bandmate, made me promise that when it comes to his baby sister, I keep my hands to myself.
Only a woman like her is impossible to resist. And before I know it, despite my best efforts, we’re doing all manner of dirty things to each other.
We vow this is only a temporary fling. Promising that no matter what, love is off the table.
Now, I have to make sure two things don’t happen. One, I don’t break my promise to her. Two, her brother doesn’t find out I already broke the one I made to him.

MY REVIEW
Eden knows that the day is coming when she'll have to be face to face with the biggest, most upsetting mistake of her life. She's taken a job producing for his band, but the last person she wants to be in the same room with is Henry Gauthier - her one night gone wrong and her brother's best friend and bandmate. But their attraction and close proximity will have them indulging, in a fling only, though, because Henry does not do love or relationships. Will either of them survive their fling with heart intact?

Henry promised Eden's brother he'd never touch her. When he broke his promise, he said he'd never break it again. But now she's finally in front of him years after he broke his promise. Will he be able to keep his promise again? One thing he does know is love isn't in the picture, even with the gorgeous, sassy Eden.

I'm really sad that this is the last rockstar love story for the Wild Minds guys, but if the series had to end, the author definitely saved the best story and the best couple, for last. Eden and Henry sizzled whenever they were in the same room together, whether they were taking jabs at each other or all over each other. As each page passed, I fell more in love with them and was rooting for them, just waiting for Henry to get his shit together and admit how he felt, be the man he was deep inside, the man Eden deserved. I loved them together, loved their story and will miss all of them.

Meet J. Saman
J. Saman is a USA Today bestselling author who is addicted to Diet Coke, sour candy, and indie rock. She swears way too much (especially after a glass of wine) and has a penchant for sarcasm (or so her husband and children like to tell her).

She's an admitted lover of second chance romances, love triangles, and the perfect amount of angst. She is best known for writing contemporary romance filled with smart, strong women, and sexy alphas who have a softer side--especially for their women.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
