Lachlan was put off of love and relationships by an ex before he met Erica, so a fling with her seemed to be right up his alley. He wasn't expecting to develop such strong feelings, to give his heart away to her, but it was so obvious to me that he was falling hard, even if he tried to deny it. But reading as he fell even while denying it was truly fun, seriously sexy, and made me long for my own hot Scot!
