MY REVIEW
Dog (Dhaval) is Vegas' hottest, most in demand stripper. He's starting to tire of the emptiness of his life of meaningless hookups and booze. But it's those very things, plus his dancing, that keep him out of his head when his head is the last place he wants to be. Too much going on in there, too much pain, too much guilt. Then a woman walks into his life, into his club, that instantly makes him feel something. For one, she's not throwing herself at him, for two, she's clearly not interested in some quick fun like all the other women he meets. How can he get this beautiful woman in his life?

Cat has leftover insecurities thanks to a horrible ex, and those insecurities have left her not having a clue as to how the hottest guy she's ever seen could possibly be interested in her. He's the gorgeous neighbor she's been drooling over, and now she finds out at her friend's bachelorette party that he's Vegas' hottest stripper. How can she be expected to react when he focuses his attention on her?

I so was not expecting Dog's backstory, and once I read it, I could sympathize with his less than pleasant behavior at the beginning of this story. It was heartbreaking what he went through, and I was rooting for him and Cat to get on the same page and to grab the happiness both of these damaged souls deserved. Their chemistry was smokin' hot, the emotional component was even stronger, and I fell in love with them and their story. Such a great read, one that definitely makes its mark on the Cocky Hero Club.
