BLURB
Trent is through with women. Or so he thinks. Beautiful, self-assured Emily shatters his self-imposed barriers. Will he let her in or will his uptight manner chase her away forever?

A marriage of convenience has left Trent Darcy drained and wary of women. Next time he'll marry a woman who is as much a cold fish as he is. But when he meets a coffee shop assistant at Heathrow Airport, he wants to get to know a woman better for the first time in years.

Emily Sandhurst thinks Trent is an entitled jerk. But after a misunderstanding, his eloquent apology improves her opinion of the haughty pilot. Having been left to raise her son alone after her partner died in Afghanistan, she's working a dead-end job to show her son that privilege is earned. Should she tell Trent that she's not all she seems?

Just when Trent thinks he could trust Emily, he learns of a family feud that could rip them apart. When tragedy strikes and Trent cuts contact, will Emily accept her fate or fight for the man she loves?

Uptight Flyboy is a single parent/forbidden/billionaire romance inspired by Playboy Pilot.

MY REVIEW
Emily thinks Trent is an entitled snob. Trent thinks she's a brat. Thank God they'll never see each other again. Except they do see each other, and this time Trent's got an apology on hand. Will she see past his demons to the heart inside, the big heart hiding beneath the uptight façade?

Emily's got a secret, one that could bit them in the butt once revealed. And she and Trent have a very unfortunate (and unknown by either of them at first) connection that could spell the end of whatever they're building between them. Combined with his obvious wariness of another relationship, things aren't looking good for our couple. Unless they're willing to fight for what they want, outside forces be damned.

I loved the contrast between Emily's determined, sassy personality, and Trent's uptight, stoic one. They balanced each other out, and the result was a sweet, entertaining read.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
