BLURB
Twenty years ago, I loved a woman.
Twenty years ago, I also loved a man.
And twenty years ago, rather than choose, I abandoned them both.
Now, I’m living a lonely life, luckless in love and unwilling to confront the truth of what I left behind.
When my brother passes, I become responsible for my four-year-old niece. Uprooting her isn't an option which means heading back to the sticks of New Hampshire, to the small town I fled.
Because of Charlotte.
Because of Liam.
My two best friends, the ones I’d been reluctant to pursue but couldn’t deny.
Attempting to avoid facing my past doesn’t work, and I see them both—together. They appear to have moved on while I can’t.
I still want her.
I still want him.
But secrets lay between us, betrayals that threaten to crack the egg shells we walk on.
I’ve got more than my own heart to look out for now, and I’ll protect those I love this time around.
No matter the cost.

Reluctant Lumberjack is a MMF bisexual menage romance inspired by British Bedmate.

MY REVIEW
When Nolan left all those years ago, he didn't just leave town, he left his heart behind with his two best friends. He couldn't have both of them, or either of them, so he ghosted them. Now he's back to take custody of his sweetheart of a niece, Trina. Will running into Liam and Charlotte and seeing them together break his heart, or will it be the fire that lights his ass up enough to go claim the two of them?

Charlotte has lived in their small town her whole life. Her heart was broken when Nolan left. Then Liam left. But Liam's back now. At least 1 of her besties came back to her. Too bad he only likes guys, because she's always had a crush on him even knowing he only had eyes for Nolan. But what happens when Liam offers to help her have a baby. The old fashioned way...

Liam came back to this town and isn't about to care about all the bigots here. No, he's here to be with his bestie, Charlotte. She's the only woman he's ever had feelings for. When he finds out she's having problems conceiving, perhaps he can help her out with that, and live out some of his hot fantasies. But what will both of them do when the man to relieve both of them of their v-cards comes back? The man both have always had feelings for? Will Nolan's arrival break them again? Or will it be the best thing the three of them could never have seen coming?

This MMF menage is pretty great. I loved all three leads, and found they complemented each other perfectly. The physical connection is strong, but not stronger than the emotional one, which is the only balance I like when reading MMF. The addition of Trina gives the story an added sweetness and lightness it needs, and I found I loved all of them. What a great addition to the Cocky Hero Club!

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
