MY REVIEW
Amber's calm, peaceful life is thoroughly turned inside out by the arrival of famed football star, Dash Pennington, who soon sets his sights on the lovely bookstore owner. She's the last person to ever expect to catch Dash's eye, being the opposite of the women he's used to. But he's been looking for a break from his fast-paced, empty lifestyle, and Amber and her small town call to something in him. The only question now, is: can she handle him and the way he makes her feel? Will her health issues be the one thing to drives him away?


Dash is instantly captivated by the vision he sees in front of him. She's so different than the women he normally hangs around, but perhaps that is what caught his attention. All he knows is that he has to get to know her. But he also soon realizes he will need to not only up his game, but he'll need a slightly more patient hand because she's not exactly jumping for joy that she's his focus. What will he need to do to convince her he's all in, that he wants to write their own story in the stars with her?


Dash and Amber are so sweet together!! I love that he was the one to fall hard first, doing his best to woo her, taking it slowly when necessary, being rock solid and never straying. He seemed to know instantly what she needed, and he was dead set on giving her everything she needed, and wanted, even without her having to tell him. Her large, loving family took him in and gave him the family he didn't have, and he got the best possible partner he could ever have dreamed about in Amber. What more could you ask for in a great love story?
