BLURB
For so long, football was my life, but in one moment, it was ripped away from me forever. Forced down another path, I opened one of the hottest nightclubs in Miami.

The Takedown became my new playing field. Women threw themselves at me, and I happily caught them, tossing them away as quickly as I could, sated and with a smile on their faces.

Until the night I caught Dixie Sinclair falling off her barstool.

I should have walked away.

She was precisely the type of woman I had avoided my whole life. She was stuck up, judgmental as hell, and thought she was too good for everyone. Everything I typically wanted nothing to do with.

One look into her blue eyes had me questioning my assumptions about her. Dixie was a puzzle that needed to be solved, and I was willing to forget years of self-preservation to help her piece herself back together.

I wanted her to be mine.

I needed her to be mine.

She was the game I was willing to play for the rest of my life.

Tempting Talon is a slow burn/millionaire/sports romance inspired by Playboy Pilot.

MY REVIEW
The night Talon met a gorgeous, but very tipsy woman, and helped her home, changed his life. He may not have been looking for anything serious - being a retired football player with a hot club meant he never has to chase a woman - but it found him when Dixie first fell into his life. Now he just has to make sure she knows he has people in his life who are his priority, and he just may have a secret or two lingering in his world. Will Dixie become a priority too, or will his past come back to haunt him and ruin everything they've worked to build together?

Dixie's life isn't really her own, being that her mother practically controls her every move. So when she meets Talon and he treats her so well, she thinks she's just met and fallen for the one. But how can she compete with his past?

Dixie has a heartbreaking backstory. She is such a sweetheart and definitely did not deserve what people had done to her, did not deserve the way they treated her. But I guess the positive is that it had all made her strong, and that's why I liked her so much. I may not have found this story to be one of my favorites in the Cocky Hero Club, but with Dixie's strong character, and Talon's adorable Dante, it's still a good installment in this series.

AUTHOR BIO
Born and raised in New Hampshire, Renee Dyer spent much of her youth hidden under a weeping willow, writing and whispering her stories to its wispy branches. She soon began sharing them with friends and family, and this crazy thing happened: they enjoyed them. Entertaining others filled her heart, in the same way, sharing her stories with the willow tree did. Having an audience unlocked her desire to be a writer. Today, she lives that dream and the joy it brings with her husband and sons.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
