Omar's attempts at wooing his fiery woman, his lirio, have been completely unsuccessful. She's resisting him for some reason and he will find out why because she's his. She just has to come around to seeing it his way. But when the time comes for him to do the job he's been paid for, and protect her, will it do what he's been unable to - and get her to open up and trust him?
I know I've said this about each of the preceding stories in this series, but I love the Kerrighan women! Liliana is my favorite Soul Sister so far - she's feisty, strong, and independent and gives Omar so much hell that I cracked up. Their sparring just intensified their hot chemistry, and I just knew when they finally got together it would be fire, and it was. The suspense added an even more intriguing layer and the story wrapped up with the sweetest damn epilogue. Now I am even more impatient for the next Kerrighan sister to find love.
