Grayson cannot for the life of him, figure out why the only woman he wants can't stand him. He's never met her before but she seems to have hated him since they first met. Their sparring turns him on, even makes him want her more, and he's determined to get through to her. If only he realized the real reason for her contempt...
Kenzie's still hurt that he doesn't know why she can't stand him, makes no bones about her dislike of him. So why can her body not get on the same page as her mind? No matter, she'll just continue to spit more sass at him every time he comes near her, that will keep him away, and keep him from seeing through her. Right?
In true enemies to lovers style, Winning the Cowboy is snarky, witty fun. The tension between Kenzie and Grayson was thicker with each encounter, and I was on the edge of my seat waiting for them to finally, finally give into what was obvious they both wanted. Kenzie's real reason for hating him was easy to guess, but it still made for lots of fun as they waged prank wars on each other, and he endeavored to get under her skin more and more, and it was glorious, delicious reading. Can't wait for more Circle B Ranch fun now!
