MY REVIEW
Rhett's surprised, not necessarily in a bad way, to see his high school sweetheart. Since he's been drinking, it gives him the added gumption to go talk to her. Though she's sweet as usual, nothing is going to happen with her, even after he rescues her from being locked in the bathroom stall. Back in high school, they both wanted different things for their lives, and it seems nothing's changed. Until it does. Until he needs help with the 2 year old son he never knew existed, and Amelia needs a job, so he impulsively asks her to become his son's nanny. Taking the job does NOT mean she's giving Rhett a second chance, though. Or does it?


Amelia knows better than to get involved with the guy who broke her heart once. But she can't seem to resist him. Will he put her first this time? Her, and his beautiful new son? Or will the same allure the football field held on him back then call to him again?


This is a sweet second chance story. It isn't my favorite of the series, but I did find myself loving Rhett, even though he needed to do a lot of growing up. I didn't really connect with Amelia, but Rhett and his adorable son, Liam, made up for her rather wooden character, and the rest of the story is great - sexy, sweet, and full of great secondary characters. Milly's story is coming next, and I cannot wait!!

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
