MY REVIEW
The last person Kirsty ever wanted to see again was her ex, the man who told her she was insane when he broke up with her. But now he's back because apparently he wants to help her?! Um sure...like she'd ever let him back into her life just so he could break her heart again. Unfortunately, her body remembers how much it likes him, and it's not on the same page as her mind. Can Luke's science loving soul ever mesh with Kirsty's metaphysical "witchy" ways?

Luke's a scientist. He believes in what he can see, what he can prove, not in things he can't explain, things he doesn't understand. That's why it was so hard for him to come to terms with his ex, Kirsty, and the way she was. But, he also can't seem to forget her, and never got over her. Now that he's back in her life, will she give him a second chance? Or is the big secret he's hiding be the one thing she cannot ever forgive?

Hot Scot indeed! Kirsty and Luke are such a great couple with intense chemistry. They complemented each other, even when they disagreed about their core beliefs, and I could just tell they could be amazing together once they got their issues worked out. I wanted to hug poor Luke once his backstory was detailed, and could actually understand his behavior and his big secret. All he wanted secretly was a loving family like Kirsty's, thank God she and her big Scottish clan welcomed him (after perhaps intimidating him a bit after he hurt Kirsty) as one of their own. I've been loving this series with its Scottish setting, all the MacTaggarts with their protective but loving tendencies, and the way each falls in love with their soulmates. Next up is Magnus, whose story I was itching for as soon as he was introduced. A Scottish bounty hunter?! I am so excited for that!
