MY REVIEW
Vander's the eldest Norcross. The brooding, protective, highly capable and highly trained eldest Norcross who runs their security company. He's dark, damaged, and about to have his world turned upside down by a woman, a detective, who gives as good (better) as she gets, doesn't back down, can fight her own battles, and is a badass warrior trying to keep an MC from bringing in a nasty drug to her city. Vander takes one look at her and is instantly drawn to the confident woman who doesn't need him, but he wants to be there for her immediately. Will he be able to give Brynn all she wants, all she deserves?
I've been wanting to get Vander's backstory since book one, and it did not disappoint. He's just as delicious as I knew he would be, and when he falls? Yeah, he's even better. The one he falls for is so definitely his equal - confident, skilled, and unafraid of his darkness and his demons. She meets them and doesn't falter, doesn't run. No, she stays because she sees the real him. I loved Brynn and Vander together and cannot wait for more Norcross now.
