MY REVIEW
Kinley's standing in front of Christian demanding a divorce, a divorce from the love of her life. This will either be a turning point for the two, or the end of a great love. What happens now is up to them. Will they find their way back to each other? Or have there been too many years of disappointment and pain between them to overcome?
Ah the angst. It's the main theme of an M. Robinson story, and it's present in spades here in Christian and Kinley's story. I ended up liking it, liking both characters, definitely more so that their predecessor, Second Chance Contract, which is his sister and best friend's story. This second chance seamlessly weaves between the past and present, showing the start of their relationship when they were just kids, detailing the choices and behavior that led to their troubled marriage in the present. I was feeling for them both, wondering how the author planned on getting them back together, IF they were going to get back together. Troubled marriage stories can be tricky for me, but I'm really glad I read this one, because it's pretty great.
