I blink back at him as my sleep-fogged mind clears, and I take in the surroundings of my flat. I reach up and touch my nose. “Did you just touch my nose?”
“I booped it.” An awkward smile spreads across his face as he grips the back of his neck. “You were sleeping so cutely. I thought it’d be a funny way to wake you up.”
“Funny?” I repeat, forking my fingers into my messy bun and glancing down to make sure I wasn’t having another wardrobe malfunction in front of him. “You thought it would be funny to break into my flat and touch me?”
His face falls. “Well, when you put it like that, it sounds creepy.”

Armed with a certain piece of information, Zander's in England about to embark on a football (soccer) career, when he sees the most gorgeous woman he's ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on. Too bad for him his usual charm doesn't work on her. Luckily, though, she ends up being his new neighbor.
Daphney's not about to fall for the would be charms her new bumbling American neighbor keeps trying to use on her. But her body isn't on the same page as her mind and she's weakening. Can she keep her heart intact around him? Is he hanging around her while nursing a hidden agenda?
I LOVE Zander and Daphney! Lots of snarky, witty banter not doing a very good job of hiding the insane amount of sexual tension between them. The flirting, the delicious scenes, and the heart and feels when Zander and Daphney open up to each other. This is a first class sports romance.
