Timely Assist by Robyn M. Ryan is now live!

Available On All Platforms

She has no time for romance.
He’s not looking for love.
Neither sees the slap shot life sends their way.

Shannon Mackenna’s life revolves around her family, with her 4 year old daughter at the center. She knows first hand how life can change in an instant. Her parents’ unexpected death taught her never to take things for granted.

She lives with no regrets—not even the one-night-stand with a minor league hockey player that resulted in a surprise pregnancy. When she tried to contact him, he denied even recognizing her and Shannon vowed to raise her daughter on her own.

Cliff “Cam” Camden embraced the bad-boy-athlete persona the moment he was drafted. He enjoyed all of the perks and has long stopped counting notches on his hockey stick.

Now, Cam wants more than off-ice conquests. It’s time to put his career first. He’s not looking for distractions—until he meets the beautiful, sassy owner of Shamrock Fitness. Intrigued by the elusive, private woman, Cam hopes for the chance of something more.

Shannon fears her past has collided with her carefully scripted life but she finds it difficult to resist Cam’s devilish smile and brilliant silver-blue eyes. His thoughtfulness outshines his obvious sex appeal, and every time she sees him, her heart skips a beat—and not just because of the way his touch lights up her whole body.

Neither denies the mutual attraction, but Shannon must protect her secret at all costs—even if it means walking away from her happily ever after.

**Timely Assist is a standalone book in the Tampa Suns Hockey series. This sweet and spicy full-length novel can be read on its own—no cliffhanger, no cheating and a guaranteed Happily Ever After.

You may enjoy meeting and following a growing group of friends connected by the Tampa Suns professional hockey team. Some characters are introduced in the Clearing the Ice Trilogy, Healthy Scratch, and Risky Move.**

MY REVIEW

Coming face to face with the man who gave her the most precious part of her life was really not what Shannon was expecting today. Years ago she tried to reach out to the man after the pregnancy test was positive, but he blew her off by saying he didn't know her and that she should go find a different athlete who made more money. Needless to say, Shannon didn't have the best impression of her old one night stand. Nor was she about to give him the time of day now. I mean come on, the man doesn't even recognize her, and he wants to take her out?! Not a chance...

But Shannon doesn't take into account Cam's determined persistence, or the fact that their chemistry is still alive and zapping all kinds of sparks between them. But can she really trust Cam, even while remembering the hurt he caused her when he dismissed her? And most significantly, can she trust that he won't take off and hurt their daughter?

This is an emotional, sweet second chance hockey romance. I loved Shannon and Kayleigh and Nanna G - they were such a tight family unit full of staunch love and support. I had a harder time with Cam, remembering, as did Shannon, how brutal he was when he told her just how little she meant when he didn't even remember her. He did redeem himself, though, and proved he had changed from the womanizing jerk he used to be. I really enjoyed reading as they worked things out, and am excited for more Tampa Suns Hockey love now.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
