But when the girl next door starts slipping 'good neighbor' contracts under his door and complaining about his behavior through strategically placed Post-it-Notes, RJ snaps out of his self-absorbed melancholy to wage war.

MY REVIEW

Dani and Chad have been living next to each other in their apartment building for sometime, letting their animosity build. She can't stand his noisy, annoying self, and he can't stand her uptight self-righteousness. Then one horrific event happens, and they're seeing each other in a whole new way. Will this tragedy bring them together? Or will Chad's circumstances make it impossible?

Wow, I definitely was not expecting this story. Though it is indeed funny and witty when the two of them engage in lots of snappy, snarky banter while dueling it out over their shared dislike of each other, it's also much more. It's full of heart, and the growth both of them do over the course of the story, especially Chad (RJ), is fantastic. Their chemistry is hot, their circumstances are tragic, but they love hard. Just like I love them and their story. Can't wait for more from J. Bengtsson now.

Book boyfriends may not be real, but at least they won’t break my heart… or get another girl pregnant. I don’t do relationships. I get one whiff and run in the opposite direction. It took me seven years to mend my broken heart, and I’m not about to hand it over again. That’s why I can’t fall for Beckett. Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It
