MY REVIEW

Why did Drew agree to go on vacation with her ex, Six? She should have known it would end up being a disaster. As in, not only does her ex not seem to be present, but his family is. The family that includes Six's brother, Josh, who hates her for some reason. This "paradise" vacation is turning out to be anything but...

But what's Drew to do when she discovers perhaps Josh doesn't hate her after all? That he's not the jerk he's always seemed to be around her? Spending time with the man is definitely messing with her already chaotic life, but he just might be the man she was meant to be with, forever.

Wow, I gotta say this one was not what I was expecting. Yes, the enemies vibe was strong, which I expected. What I didn't expect was for Drew to be a hot mess or for Josh to actually be the kind, stable one. I liked this, actually, and loved reading as the two of them finally figured out their relationship. The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea is sexy, witty and fun. Can't wait to read more by Elizabeth now.

Elizabeth O'Roark spent many years as a medical writer before publishing her first novel in 2013. She holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and arts from the University of Texas, and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Notre Dame. She is the author of ten novels and recipient of the 2017 IBPA gold medal for romance. She lives in Washington DC with her three children.
