MY REVIEW

Posey may have had posters of Gavin Price on her walls when she was younger, but that doesn't mean she's going to fall for the man now that he's moved to her small town. She can't be with the man running against her beloved mother for mayor, can she? As she soon finds out, the heart doesn't care about things like politics, and she'll have to decide if she'll allow herself to believe in love.


Gavin came to his new town to get away from the negativity of Hollywood, and to figure out what he wants to do with the rest of his life. He's been drawn to Posey since he first saw her, but now that he's decided to run for mayor against her mother, he doesn't think he stands a chance with her. He's not used to not being able to have whoever he wants, and Posey's now leading him on a merry chase. Will he ever be able to convince her of the depth of his feelings? Or is she running too scared thanks to her father's spectacularly horrible treatment of her mother and their family?


Sweet enemies to lovers-ish with one of the most heartfelt guys I've read in a long time. I want my own Gavin Price! Posey got on my nerves with her total stubbornness, but I could sort of understand why she was so out of touch with herself and her feelings. Still, I felt Gavin was by far the best part of this story, and I loved how he fell in love with another Greene.
