Charlie's mission in life is to protect women and girls. She's a former Marine, she's tough, she's scarred, and her intuition is not the only thing that makes her so good at her mission. When she's on her current assignment, protecting a teenaged Hollywood actress from her stalker, she meets the man who could easily distract her from her job. Will she allow Daniel into her battle-hardened heart?
Daniel's fascinated by the new on set security agent. He wants her as he's never wanted another before, but he realizes she may not be so willing to get involved with him. Time will tell if he's got the persistence needed to reach Charlie's heart the way she's already got his. He's got a big secret, though, and it just may end up being their biggest obstacle...
Badass heroines are my jam, and Charlie's one of the most badass of all badasses. She's so strong, so intuitive. Yes, she's got both literal and figurative scars, but she doesn't allow them to hinder her or to throw her off her mission. She only needed to allow love in a bit to make her even more amazing. She and Daniel are on their way to that, and I can't wait for Hunt Her to find out not only what Daniel's secret is, and of course, if their journey ends up with a happy ever after.
