Lucifer’s back, to protect the only woman he’s ever loved, the same woman who once shot him, the same woman who hates him. He feels the same hate toward her, all mixed in with the love that has never disappeared, as much as he wishes it would. But just because they hate each other doesn’t mean he’ll ever let anyone kill her, so now the clock is racing as they go on the run all while trying, with his employer Walker Security, to figure out exactly what is going on.
Whew, but the emotions were intense in Lucifer’s Sin! The pain, the hate, the love were all roiling around in every breath Lucifer and Ana took around each other. I hurt for them, especially Lucifer, as they tried to reconcile their past with their present. They didn’t give us any clear answers by the time Lucifer’s Sin ended, of course, and now I’m seriously freaking out wondering how everything is going to play out in the next two installments of Lucifer’s Trilogy. I want them to figure things out, declare their feelings, and find the happiness they deserve. That’s a tall order, I know, but I have faith Lisa will give that to me, to them, by the time this trilogy is done.
