MY REVIEW
Elles has had it with douchebag men, well, all men really. That's why when she finds a hottie with abs on her new dating app, she sends off an angry drunken message to him. That message somehow evolves into a friendship consisting of witty snark, jabs, and flirting. Then she meets the cocky Brit and all that tension contained in their digital only friendship cannot help but be consummated. But what will Elles do when she finds out who her new friend really is?
Ethan adores his new friend turned more. He knows his big secret could be the undoing of them, though. He can't help but want to enjoy even longer his time with Elles, without her looking at him differently, the way women always do when they see him, know he's a famous hockey player. Will Elles ever forgive him for keeping his identity a secret? Are their feelings strong enough to overcome his lie of omission?
I love friends to lovers, and when paired with a sports theme it's even better. Ethan and Elles are absolutely adorable together. Their snarky, witty friendship that inevitably turned to more was so much fun, so freaking hot, and I couldn't help but fall in love with them and their love story.
