MY REVIEW
His new employee is already driving Sebastian crazy. He can't have her and he knows it. She's too young. She's his employee. His is a dark world. All valid reasons for staying away from her. But he doesn't count on not being able to resist. But will their relationship actually bring harm to her? Will his secret world put Alexis in its sights and not let go?
I don't normally read a lot of political romances, but I'm glad I read this one, started what I can tell is going to be a great series. Alexis and Sebastian are a hot couple, matched perfectly. She's smart and determined, knows she can't fall for her powerful boss, but unable to resist the charm and dominance he exudes. Sebastian is indeed dominant, and powerful, and determined to resist her allure, but is only human. I like how he resisted, but not too much...Then there's the suspense and the overarching storyline that is just as intriguing as the romantic relationship. The three men of this series have gotten in deep with their secrets, and now I am seriously impatient waiting for Conner's story, A Man of Wealth. I have to get answers, now!
