Blurb:
A best-friends-to-lovers, second chance, only-one-bed-in-the room romance!

How to resist sleeping with your best friend when you're stuck in a hotel room with the charming, glasses-wearing hottie.

1.Slather your face in a grapefruit mask
2. Wear a big, fluffy robe
3. Make him do the same.

Oops. Too bad our libidos have other plans.

But after a night of epic, soul-shattering banging, I'll have to wrestle the sex genie back into the bottle the next morning when I get the big news. Nolan and I just landed a once-in-a-lifetime for our scrappy online restaurant review show. We're going to New York for a month and we'll be together in a hotel all the time.

I've already lost my best friend once, so I'll do whatever it takes to resist thoroughly delicious Nolan again.

Until I learn whatever it takes might cost me everything.

SHUT UP AND KISS ME is an MF, dual POV, friends to lovers, sexy, emotional standalone romance!

MY REVIEW

Emerson and Nolan are best friends, co-reviewers and bloggers, and perhaps more now that they've given into the attraction that's been humming below the surface of their friendship. But when they have the chance to further their careers, do they take it? How will their crossing the line between friendship and more affect their new situation? Well, it could either be the best thing for their friendship, for their careers, for themselves, or it could break them apart, for good.

Friends to lovers - such a potentially great trope, and Lauren more than did right by it in Shut Up and Kiss Me. Nolan and Emerson are sweet together, a study of contrasts with she as the veggie girl and he the carnivore in their review blog, striking off sparks every time they slung those witty barbs at each other. I could tell from the very first page that these two had a lot of something more going on, and when they gave in, I was not only fanning my face, but rooting them on, hoping they could successfully navigate this new facet of their friendship. I absolutely loved these friends turned more, they gave me more than their fair share of heart, serious chemistry, and lots of witty, sparkling dialogue - signature Lauren Blakely.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
