MY REVIEW

Emma, Bridge and co. are back, determined more than ever to finally take down the Elite, take down the person who killed Toby. But first, Emma has got to get herself and Bridge's sister out of the little mess they've found themselves in, then come home and deal with who she knows will be a very, very upset Bridge. True to form, though, Emma's got this. But when she gets home, will Bridge ever forgive her?

Bridge and Emma may have started off as a convenience, with a fake marriage, but fake didn't stay fake for long, if it ever was fake, and now the two are settled into their feelings. But are those feelings enough to keep Bridge from being so angry at his love that he drives her away? Will the darkness that's living inside him take over and really drive Emma from him?

Damn...this conclusion was fire! Emma and Bridge are now one of my favorite Nana couples. She's feisty af, doesn't let her very alpha hubs boss her around one bit, and it drives him mad even as he loves her independence and sass. He sometimes forgets that the whole reason they embarked on this journey is because she wanted to find who killed HER brother, and that means she's not about to allow the crew to do things without her, make decisions without her input on how to take down Middleton. And amid all the anger, all the action, Emma and Bridge are growing closer and closer and I loved every page. I wasn't expecting one of the twists, and it hurt, I will fully admit. But by the end, I was so happy that the whole crew took the steps they took, and that my couple had the happy ever after they did.

Meet Nana
USA Today Bestseller, Nana Malone's love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin.

It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

While she waits for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, in the meantime Nana works out her drama, passion, and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
