Review / Release Blitz: Claiming the Cowboy (Circle B Ranch #7) by Kennedy Fox

Claiming the Cowboy
Circle B Ranch, #7

Claiming the Cowboy is now available on all retailers!

Early morning feedings, barn clean up, and chasing goats are Knox Bishop’s everyday routine. That changes when a bachelor auction brings him face to face with the world’s most forbidden fruit—his twin brother’s crush.
He shouldn’t tempt her, but the way her body reacts to his makes it too damn easy.

Hadleigh has known the Bishop twins all her life and they’ve never crossed the lines. That is until she fools around with Knox and learns he has a piercing south of the border. A piercing she very much enjoys licking.

She knows his main hobby consists of random weekend hookups, but she can’t get the taste of him off her mind.

Admitting what she feels wouldn’t be so difficult if Kane Bishop hadn’t just confessed his feelings for her too. Now she finds herself wedged between two brothers—one she could break and one who could break her.

**Claiming the Cowboy is a complete stand-alone and can be read without reading any of the other books or spin-off series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect.**

MY REVIEW

When an auction has Hadleigh pitted between the twins she grew up with - one, her best friend, Kane, the other, Knox the womanizer, will it sever the friendship, force Hadleigh to finally come to terms with her feelings?

This is by far the steamiest book by Kennedy Fox that I've ever read. Lots of tension, insane scenes, and strong feelings. I am not really a big fan of love triangles generally speaking, but I liked how this one ended, as it was clear who Hadleigh should have been with from the very first page. So why 4 stars and not 5? Well, as I said, I'm not a fan of love triangles, and one of the scenes within the triangle really bugged me. Aside from my personal preferences, and a dislike of one of the scenes, though, I liked this story. Knox is a typical reformed player, with a good heart deep down inside, Hadleigh is sassy and fun, and Kane is downright adorable.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
