Cover Reveal: The King (Gentlemen Rogues #2) by Nana Malone

Nana Malone has revealed the cover for The King!

Releasing: July 19, 2022
Cover Design: Najla Qamber, Qamber Designs

What's worse than a gorgeous one-night stand who doesn't remember you? Having to pretend to be his wife. For work.

The Rogues Division is a top-secret, highly-classified, "I'd tell you but I'd have to kill you" kind of organization. The kind of organization the government pretends not to love having at its disposal.

And we just got our newest recruit...Lachlan King, the sexy billionaire playboy who seduced me into one night of wild, soul-shattering, sex.

When I slipped out of his bed three months ago, I never expected to see him again. My future is set. I'm going to be a Rogues field agent. And field agents don't date. Not to mention it's forbidden to date each other. I'm relieved when he also pretends not to know me, so we can avoid any office awkwardness—until I realize he isn't pretending.

Even worse luck, I'm assigned to play his lover in the field.

Okay, okay, deep breath. This mission will be easy. All I need to do is pretend to be madly in love with him and make sure neither of us die. Oh and remember this isn't real. I've got to remember that. I cannot let this playboy seduce me again no matter what my belly does when he looks at me like I'm his.

Lachlan "the King," however, has thrown himself into our undercover assignment a little too wholeheartedly. He's hell bent and determined on being as convincing as possible.

But there's no way I'm letting him fake-husband me back into bed. I won't fall for him this time. I won't. Will I?

Meet Nana
Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves all things romance and adventure.

That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

Title: The Challenge: A Single Dad Romance Author: Penelope Ward Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance Tropes: Single Dad, Second Chance, Forced Proximity Friends to Lovers, Small Town, Found Family Release Date: August 30, 2026 BLURB From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward comes a new, STANDALONE contemporary romance… Nothing says welcome home like accidentally moving in with your first heartbreak…and his little girl. Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
