MY REVIEW
Charlotte & Perry are finally to the wedding and honeymoon portion of this arranged marriage. But what of the feelings? They're both falling deeper with every day that passes. But is it love? Does Perry trust her yet? He's opened up a bit, but perhaps he's still holding back.
The chemistry is even more pronounced, even hotter, WHEW! But is Perry really ever going to trust Charlotte? She is falling (has fallen) for her new husband, and it seems every day as if their arranged relationship has the possibility of becoming real, in every sense of the word. She knows Perry still doesn't seem to trust in her completely, and it frustrates her even as she can't quite resist giving into him every time. But then a blast from her past comes calling, and puts everything they've developed at risk. Will it be just the thing to nudge Perry into admitting his feelings, if indeed he has them?
I'm loving this couple even more in their second installment. The heat has ratcheted up so much, no more slow burn here. But, I'll be honest, Perry still made me want to smack him more than once because he kept holding back with his new wife. Charlotte is awesome, and after that doozy of a cliffie, I'm a tad worried about her. I am very anxiously awaiting The Reckless Union to see if Monica manages to write them out of the big cluster they're in now.
