Waking up with no memories of her brother's murder and apparently she's the only witness to it, Brielle is left to try to regain her memory without prodding from her loved ones. Who shall she turn to in this uncertain time? Spencer, one of her brother's best friends, the man she nursed a crush on?

Spencer has always loved Brie, now he has to be there for her like never before. He can't help but want to nudge her to regain her memory, but knows he can't. But what he can do, is just love her. Protect her. Hurt for her and be hurt by her when she runs from her feelings. But he knows she's the one. He just hopes she can remember that again.

Spencer is dreamy, the kind of book boyfriend I love. He is Brie's rock, loving her endlessly, intensely, and without reservations. He is by far my favorite part of this story. Brie, I felt for her, but I admit I wanted to smack her when she not only hurt Spencer near the end, but had one of those tstl moments that could have ended very badly. Still, she was a great character, and I was so happy she and Spencer finally found that happiness they so deserved. Suspense, sizzling chemistry and so much heart - a great start to this new series. There are some other great characters here, too, and I am looking forward to their stories now.
