Sydney's off the charts night should have stayed in her past as just a memory. A steamy, fun, amazing memory, but just a memory. Then she walks into the office for her interview and guess who the man interviewing her is? Yep. Said amazing night guy - Ford Dalton, the man who gave her that memory that should have stayed a memory only. Well, she can just be Everly's nanny and nothing else. Right? Wrong. Because there's no way she and Ford's chemistry can be denied. But how can she be with her boss? How can Ford be with his daughter's nanny? There's so much to take into consideration here, and Ford's top priority is his daughter, not his own needs. Right?
When Ford's life changed irrevocably one night years ago, he never thought he'd love anyone as much as this little girl thrust into his life. But along comes Sydney and suddenly someone else is slipping into his mind, into his life, into his heart. But he cannot be with Everly's nanny, can he? He can't make time for someone other than the only love of his life, can he?
God but I loved Ford, Sydney and Everly! He's the hottest, most swoony of all the Dalton Brothers, Sydney's the sweetest, the sassiest, and most big-hearted heroine by far, and Everly, by God, she's the scene stealer, the very best part of the entire show. The chemistry is incendiary, Ford and Sydney are that couple you just root for from the minute they lay eyes on each other, and I wanted to spend days longer reading about them and Everly. These Dalton Brothers just keep getting better and better. I'm not sure I'll be able to handle the next one or if he can possibly be better than The Single Dad.
