MY REVIEW

Mercedes is finally trying to fly the coop, spread her wings. Though she loves Judge, she wants independence, and she's hiding a secret. Judge will have to find her and grovel his sweet ass off for her, for his family, if he wants to keep what he's finally realized he loves. A pissed off Judge is a scary Judge, so Mercedes better buck up, cuz he's coming for her!

I never thought I'd say this, considering what I thought of Mercedes in Santi and Ivy's trilogy, but I absolutely love her and her story with Judge. It has Zavarelli and Natasha's signature dark tone and suspense, a true anti-hero, and a woman who turns out to be a wonderful heroine. Their Reign wraps up their story in a supremely satisfying way, with Judge finally admitting his true feelings for Mercedes, going full on possessive alpha on a tear, a little surprise here and there, and an ending that made me grin because it summed up their entire story.
