Review: Owen North (Escape With A Billionaire #5) by Nina Levine

Owen North (Escape With A Billionaire #5) by Nina Levine is LIVE!

A steamy forbidden office romance from USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling author Nina Levine.

My one-night stand is my new boss.

I met him at the society wedding of the year.
The man every woman in New York wants.

He's rich.
Devastatingly good looking.
Charming.
Mr. I-Could-Blow-Your-Mind.

And yes, he did blow my mind.

It was just supposed to be one night.
I told him I don't date.
But now he wants to make me his.

How will I resist all those suits and the muscles they hide?
How will I survive the unexpected dinner parties and work trips?
How will I ignore our scorching chemistry?

I can’t give my heart away again.

Spoiler alert: I'm failing epically.

Owen North is a standalone billionaire boss romance featuring a swoonworthy, protective alpha hero; a quirky heroine who can’t control a thing she says; forced proximity; forbidden office steamy moments; a hero who will stop at nothing to get his woman; so much fun banter; a heroine who loves being her hero’s good girl; and a HEA you will swoon over.

MY REVIEW

When a gorgeous guy rescues Charlize from a dress mishap at her cousin's society wedding, it ends with a night neither will ever forget. But it has to, will, stay at just one night, because she has sworn off men and relationships after having her heart broken. Fate has plans for Charlize and Owen, though, because when she walks into her new temp job, guess her new big boss is? Yep...now they'll just have to figure out how to navigate this awkward situation - she can't/won't get involved, but Owen wants it all. Can they do this?

Owen's been working so hard to make a success of his firm that he hasn't stopped to enjoy life much. Then a gorgeous, quirky spitfire stumbles into his life one night, and he wants more even though he's supposed to have left it at one night. When she appears for her new temp assignment at his office, all bets are off. This alpha is going to woo her into wanting it all. It won't be easy getting around her walls, but Charlize is more than worth it.

Shhhh....don't tell the other alphas in this series, but Owen is my new favorite!! He's a different kind of alpha - the easygoing kind, no less commanding, but with a laid back vibe that's not present in any of the other guys (especially Alphahole himself, Ashton), and I absolutely loved that about him. It's why he and Charlize are the perfect fit. She's got walls around her heart, has a lot of damage done to that heart, but that heart is so big and just wanting someone to put her first. That she was paired with the sweetest, dirtiest alpha is so fitting, and so perfect. Their chemistry steamed up my Kindle, they both grew more than a little, and I fell hard for them. Can't wait for more Billionaire Alphas to be brought to their knees by love now.

Book boyfriends may not be real, but at least they won’t break my heart… or get another girl pregnant. I don’t do relationships. I get one whiff and run in the opposite direction. It took me seven years to mend my broken heart, and I’m not about to hand it over again. That’s why I can’t fall for Beckett. Susan Arden has revealed the covers for Seduced By The Senator! Releasing June 17, 2024 What's your dirty little secret? Mine involves a handsome stranger. It began in a darkened hallway. This man's touch had me coming undone. Not only is he tall, brilliant, gorgeous, and sexy as sin, he left me wanting more. He haunts my fantasies until I read about him: Senator Bennett Stone. Armed with his name, I dig for the truth. Stone is from Atlanta and is independently wealthy. A billionaire. He's rumored to be the next vice president. Tasting forbidden fruit, I can't settle for the cloying secrecy of my family. Or their plans for me as a pawn who'll live in a gilded cage where women are expected to look beautiful and keep silent. I have to act fast. Thanks to a connection, Stone is my new boss. He's my ticket to freedom -- if he doesn't fire me on the spot when I reintroduce myself... Xavia Stillman Kennedy. Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It
