MY REVIEW
Waverly has worked her tail off to get to where she's at now - soon to be on the partner track at her law firm. It all hinges on a case out of state. Yes, she's aware that the only reason they asked her is because she's licensed in more than one state, but still, she'll win and come back to hopefully be named partner. But then she meets opposing counsel in this small town and suddenly her focus and her views are shifting. Will she find her heart is going to long for Ryland and his town, or will she win and go back to the city and her lonely life working all hours just to possibly become partner?
Ryland's instantly intrigued by and attracted to the new lawyer, ice queen Waverly. He really doesn't care she's opposing him or that she's sort of off-limits. He wants her and he means to have her. Now if only he can convince her she wants him back, and to stick around even after the case is finished. That he and his small hometown are enough for his city girl.
Rivals to lovers - ✔. City vs country - ✔. Hot, delicious dirty talk - ✔. A fun, sweet opposites attract love story - ✔. I love Mooreville and all its residents, and Ryland and Waverly are the newest couple to find love and happiness here. Sexy, witty and just the right amount of tension between two rivals. Now I can't wait for more love in Mooreville.
