Christmas is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year. But not this year; at least not for me.

Laid off from my job, left at the altar, and wanting to bury my head until the new year I head to my family's cabin. 

Blizzard Bluff was in my rearview as soon as I graduated high school, but now I'm heading back to lick my wounds. 

The last person I expect to see is the boy who made my heart pound as a teenager. Only he's a man now, and he's going to be the one to turn my holiday around.

With a name like mine everyone assumes Christmas is my favorite time of year.

Truth is, being the owner of Blizzard Bluff's most popular bakery, this is my busy season and if it doesn't go well, I won't have anything to live off of for the remaining eleven months of the year. I'm closest to my coworkers, since I spend the most time with them.

But there's one I can't get out of my head; Beckett. A construction worker by trade, he's using his winter break to save money for a new home.

When a blizzard surprises the town, and I'm stuck at the shop with the hottest baker I've ever worked with. Over the course of twenty-four hours, he teaches me things about my body I never knew. As the plows go through to clear the streets, I hope it doesn't end.
