MY REVIEW

Reed's coming back home because his dad is selling the family business, the one he walked away from. Seeing his ex Ava again, finding out she works for that family business? Yeah, uh, it's not exactly a welcome sight for him, but he has to work with her if he wants to save this business. He can ignore the fact that they still have that chemistry. He can ignore the fact that he's falling in love all over again but he's still not going to stick around after everything is wrapped up with the business...


Ah second chances, one of my favorite tropes. If they're written like this one - low on the angst, high on the heart, in a beautiful setting with an adorable couple at the center, then I'm sure to be a fan, and I definitely am. Reed and Ava fall back into each other comfortably and easily, with obvious strong feelings still there, and I was rooting them on with every page that flipped. The Madigan Mountain series is off to a wonderful start, I can't wait for the second Madigan to fall in love when A Little Too Close is released.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien
