Lucy is a Green Witch who lives in a small town surrounded by her family. Lately she and her fellow witches have been having ominous dreams - they know something is coming, but have no idea just how bad it will end up being. Jonas is a fellow witch, he just happens to be from a different time and different place, but can move easily among places and times. No one's ever been able to see him while doing this, but one night a beautiful Lucy sees him. He easily feels their connection, and it's partly this connection that will help with the coming evil.

Jonas has lived centuries, is a powerful witch in his own right. He laid a curse centuries ago, but now, now's the time to lift that curse. With Lucy by his side, and her powerful family, he can finally lay the evil to rest, and live on with his soulmate. Will they prevail? Or is the coming storm just the beginning?

I will admit to not reading a lot of paranormal these days. But when I see that Kristen has started another paranormal series, I have to read it, and I am so glad I did because Hallows End more than lives up to the high bar she set with her other paranormal series that I loved so much, Bayou Magic. Jonas and Lucy's connection is so strong and their connection is electric, I can easily see them making a relationship work that spans timelines and different worlds. I loved this story and am anxiously awaiting Breena and Giles' story next, Cauldrons Call. I can already tell there's a lot more to come in this series, more fantastical, supernatural happenings, and a lot more couples to fall head over heels.
