She was meant to be mine.

Julianna Keller is sexy, wild, and carefree with a spark for life that sets my soul on fire.
We’re opposites in every way.
For one night, I allowed myself to imagine what being with a woman like her could be like.
But life goes on.
I returned to my life in the Marines—fighting wars, eliminating threats, and completing missions only a few knew about.
All the time, never forgetting her.

Three years later, we’re back in the same city, thrown together at every turn.
She’s so much more than I remember—brilliant, sophisticated, and still unbelievably gorgeous.
I fight to stay away, hiding my feelings and knowing she deserves so much more.
Then I see her with another man and my world explodes.
Years of training taught me to never let my guard down, but I’m done holding back.

She says it’s too late, our time has passed.
I’m prepared to prove her wrong.
She’s the chaos to my control.
The calm to my storm.
The light to my dark.

The harder she fights to push me away, the more determined I become.
Julianna Keller has no idea how far I’ll go.

My name is Major Powers. And I’ve never failed a mission.

MY REVIEW

Jewls has been into Major for years. But he's finally pressed upon her, after his rejection, that he's just not that into her. So accepting a date with a hot guy, one who lays a kiss on her in front of the kiss cam, is just the thing to get her over the hurt Major's uninterest has brought her. Is Major really as uninterested as he seems, though? Or is he just hesitating for a reason he won't share?

Major's kept Jewls at a distance for as long as he's known her. But not wanting to bring his mess to her life, not thinking he was right for her, meant he would never act upon his strong attraction. Then one PDA has him seeing red. Now's the time he's going to claim his woman, whether she's willing to admit it or not. Will Jewls make him work for her heart?

OK, alpha much?! Major is definitely a bossy, possessive alpha with controlling tendencies. But he met his match in Jewls, who threw him so much sass, so much snark that I was laughing and rooting her feisty self on every time she told him no. But their insanely hot chemistry was not to be denied, and they finally got on the same page. Throw in a bit of action and suspense to go with the steam and the witty dialogue, and I was entertained with every page. I love this Men of Action series where alpha males are brought to their knees by the love of an awesome woman.

Ahren spent her formative years living in an active volcano. There her family made collectible lava art. She studied rock collecting at the Sorbonne in France. There she met the love of her life-her pet pig Sybil. She returned to the states and started writing. She is happily married to a guy who used to live under a bridge and she met while pole-dancing.

Now, meet the real me. I grew up in the south and consider myself a true “Southerner”. Most of the special locations mentioned in my books are reflections of my favorite places. Living on the Florida coast, my family spends a lot time at the beach, which is where I usually can be found with a book in my hand.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It
