Review / Release Blitz: Fighting Mr. Knight (London Mister #3) by Rosa Lucas

Fighting Mr. Knight by Rosa Lucas is now live!

Billionaire playboy, Jack Knight, propping up the UK rich list and national tabloid gossip with his outrageous sex life. And making my life as an architect literal hell.

It's the largest property development project London has seen in ten years and every architect's wet dream. One of the most exciting projects of my career if my firm wins the bid.

And, of course, it's being done by the Lexington Group, Europe's largest property developer, conservatively valued at a humble seven billion, with Jack at its helm. The arrogant cockney alpha who looks like dirty sex and thinks he rules the world.

The catch?

I'd rather work for Satan on designing hell after what he did.

The guy thinks he's a bloody god and London is his Monopoly Board.

But if Jack Knight says jump, we get a long pole and launch ourselves into space.

And I need this promotion.

And I really wish I hadn't gotten on his bad side.

But most importantly, I must remember my end goal: bricks, not dicks.

Fighting Mr. Knight is a standalone, steamy, dual POV workplace romance with a nipple ring-clad alpha bosshole and a sassy, intelligent heroine.

This is the third installment of the London Mister series.

MY REVIEW

Jack's been interested in Bonnie for awhile but the timing's never been right. Well, it sure is now. She's fresh off a breakup with a serious jerk, and now they're working together. So this alpha's gonna make his move. Will Bonnie make it easy on him and swoon at his feet like the average woman does? Or does Jack like her guarded ways?

Bonnie's all about making it in this architecture industry. She doesn't need complications like hot billionaire Jack. But she's having a hard time convincing her body (and heart) to be on the same page as her mind. She also has a bit of a secret that could put a serious crimp in their relationship. This feisty architect has her work cut out for her, that's for sure.

Jack is one word - swoony! How Bonnie resisted him at first I will never be able to understand. But that's actually one of the things I like most about this story - she didn't just fall into him at first glance, no, she made him work for her time, for her heart. But it was worth it because this alpha was downright charming when he made his move. I love this couple together, so now I'm about to go read the first two stories and am looking very forward to more London Misters falling in love.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
