Grayson thought Carla was THE ONE at one point. But she walked away with only a note of "sorry." 2 and a half years later he sees her again and he wants answers, then he can walk away. But what if he can't? What if he still loves her?
Carla knew she'd have to face the man she loves again. After all, her best friend is marrying his best friend. She thought she could get out of the encounter unscathed, but she should have known better. Now what has she done? She's made things worse because she just couldn't resist him, and she can't tell him the reason she walked away 2 1/2 years ago. But is she underestimating his persistence? Underestimating their love?
Whoa I was not expecting Carla's backstory - it's hard to read! Thank God Grayson was determined, thank God they hadn't fallen out of love, because they make a wonderful couple, even before her truth came out.
