ABOUT HOLIDAY GAMES
After the worst year ever, August Pointe can’t wait to spend Friendsmas with her besties at her uncle’s mountain house. She could really use the comfort of a few familiar faces. But when a blizzard hits, August ends up stuck at the house with a mutual acquaintance she’s never met instead.
But Jack Harris is a hot, TikTok famous chef. And something about his easy going nature and excellent drink making skills are thawing out August’s icy exterior. Plus, he’s brought a kitten with him!
August is reluctant to get involved, but some Christmas presents are too tempting to keep wrapped up. And her friends think she deserves a little holiday cheer. Still, August isn’t sure if it's worth playing bedroom games with a stranger or if she’ll just end up doubly heart broken by New Years.

ABOUT HOTEL GAMES
Hair stylist Olivia Couper can’t wait to celebrate Friendsmas with her besties in a secluded mountain house. So, when Olivia asks Henry, her best friend’s grumpy surgeon brother, to carpool, she swears it’s a matter of convenience and not a bid for Henry’s attention.
Sure, they’ve been hooking up for years, but they always followed one unspoken rule: Never talk about the hook ups. Unfortunately, a blizzard hits while Olivia and Henry are on the road, stranding them in the last hotel room available. And suddenly, Henry wants to break all the rules.
Olivia’s left with a choice: confront her real feelings for Henry or flee to the mountain house with all her walls intact. It’s a game she isn’t sure she’s ready to play and a hotel stay she isn’t soon to forget.

MY REVIEW

Holiday Games

August was supposed to be celebrating Friendsmas with her besties, but instead she's snowed in with a gorgeous chef and the kitten he rescued from under the porch. Will she let her normally closed-off heart be so Scroogey that Jack is scared away? Or will his laid back charm and dirty mouth be the keys to unlocking her holiday spirit?

This is a spicy little holiday treat. Jack is one hot and naughty chef, and August is awkward but ultimately no match for Jack's chefly wiles. I wasn't sure at first I was going to like this story because August is a lot, but she, they, won me over once they started opening up to each other.

Hotel Games

Olivia (August's friend) and Henry (August's brother) have been hooking up for ages now. But they go on after acting as if each encounter hasn't happened. But what will happen when the same storm that snowed in August and Jack, forces this fwb into close proximity that they can't get away from?

This is another yummy holiday read. I love this couple, especially Henry. They've long had strong feelings for each other even though they never let on to the other. The snowstorm was just the ticket to getting them together and on the same page and I love how sweet they were once they got together.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
