MY REVIEW
Melissa's had to pick up the pieces of her broken marriage and she feels like she's failed her kids. She knows now what she wants and doesn't want. She doesn't want another relationship, even if she had time for one. But when she meets a gorgeous officer somehow she can't resist. Now she's in the thick of what she had said she wouldn't do again. Is Will really the good guy she thinks? Or is he another heartbreaker like her ex?
Love is definitely complicated, and this story is all about that. Melissa's life was complicated by love, both when she lost that love with her ex, and when she fell for Will. Thank God she fell for a good guy the second time around, though. Will is the best part of this story for me. Melissa irritated me but I love Will. I may not love cops these days, but if they were all like Will I think the world would be a better place.
