Blurb
A fake marriage standalone MM romance from #1 New York Times Bestselling author Lauren Blakely writing MM romance as L. Blakely...

One night with no strings was supposed to be the plan.

After barely escaping my last train wreck of a romance, I’ve got a new dating goal—play it cool.

I stick to that strategy when I bump into a charming Brit I met once before. He’s newly out and eager for all the things he’s never done, so I make the helpful suggestion we jet off to the city of sin for the night, then say goodbye.

But instead, thanks to a bet and some bourbon, we’re saying I do.

And in the morning I’m asking myself what the hell have I done? But we’ll just undo the holy matrimony right this stinking second.

Except, the pics of our nuptials are splashed all over the Internet–the pro football player eloped!

Great, just great.

Now, my agent says we need to stay Mister and Mister until the brouhaha blows over.

Thirty days as fake husbands with the sexy, irresistible guy who’s determined to prove that he’s nothing like my ex?

My bruised heart can handle that as long as I don’t fall for my husband.

And I won't. When we split for real, he'll be an ocean away.

Contents include: A sarcastic, romance-phobic American football player, a charming and dirty-minded young British businessman, white-hot first times, dangerous decisions, and a sexy, witty, emotional fake marriage, first times MM standalone sports romance!

MY REVIEW

Nate's bruised and cynical since his divorce, but when he meets a gorgeous British businessman, and they end up in Vegas together, somehow alcohol and their attraction equals them having to fake their way through their accidental marriage. How can the jaded football star and the guy who wants to explore and do EVERYTHING, make a relationship work, even a fake one? What happens when feelings are caught? Can they make long distance work?

Hunter's all about exploring his new feelings and desires. A gorgeous football player will be just the person to allow him to explore all those things, though. IF he can keep his heart out of it, because this accidental marriage has to stay fake, for both their sakes. They can't possibly be real if Nate lives in San Francisco and Hunter is going back across the pond, can they?

Hunter and Nate are so sweet and delicious together. Lauren writes some of my favorite MM fiction and it's because of guys like these. The contrast of Nate's bruised heart and Hunter's openness to everything makes for the kind of couple that keeps me reading. Their chemistry is WHEW, both men are sweethearts, and the banter and real emotion behind everything - 5 stars!

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
