MY REVIEW
Derek's back and he's upset to find that his Stellina isn't the same girl he left. Now she's got walls around her heart and she's very unimpressed with his attempts at being in her life again. Can he prove to her that he's all in, that he's the man she deserves?
Allegra's heart is broken. Broken after Derek and the band left her behind without a word. Oh sure, Mav's been keeping in touch and she's not really upset with him. She knows Derek must have lied to them about her, that's why they didn't tell her they were leaving on tour. But now Derek's back and wants a second chance. She's not up for giving out her heart again, but a no strings arrangement might be just the thing to get him out of her system. She just has to remember that he doesn't stick around, so no letting her heart soften this time.
Sigh...Derek once again managed to piss me off. I wasn't very happy with him by the end of Rebellious Rockstar, and now I'm even more pissed at him. He worked to be the man Allegra deserved, then he went and blew it at the end. I really liked Allegra here, her work with the homeless, trying to get her life on track, all while trying to first heal a broken heart, then keep it from being broken again - she's the real rockstar here. Hers and Derek's story is turning out to be an angsty rollercoaster and now I'm really impatient for Restless Rockstar to see if Derek can finally redeem himself and become the man Allegra deserves.
