If there’s one thing in her marriage Claire Brady can count on, it’s the media keeping her abreast of her husband’s every sordid liaison, financial conquest, and nomination as America’s most eligible bachelor.

Ha!

How the press hasn’t discovered her is a mystery, but after nearly a decade of pretending their tragic marriage didn’t exist, she’s ready to make it legal… and then promptly flee the country.

Getting served divorce papers for breakfast isn’t something Ryan Brady intends to be civilized about. His marriage may be long over, but he’s not letting Claire go without hashing out their past once and for all.

MY REVIEW

A wakeup call in the form of divorce papers finally forces Ryan to realize he's never really gotten closure with his estranged wife, Claire. He's not going to let her go without figuring out their past. He just may not let her go at all...

Whoa boy this one is painful. Poor Claire had to endure not only the pain of their shared tragic loss, but she then had to put up with all the years after of seeing her husband in the tabloids with woman after woman after woman. I really, really felt for her throughout their story, and wanted to shake Ryan! He very luckily had a wife who forgave him, though. I'm not sure I ever did, but I like their story - mostly because I really like Claire. A good study of healing and the regaining of trust, with a lovable heroine, a not so lovable hero, but in the end, a happy ever after.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
