MY REVIEW
Callan is so fascinated by the beautiful woman ahead of him in line at the coffeeshop, that when she later books a date with his agency, he's the one to claim that appointment. He knows Lilian isn't the kind to demand attention, but she has his, all of it, from their first meeting. Now he just has to convince her how important she is to him, that he won't put her aside the way everyone else in her life has.
Lilian just wanted for once to be the center of someone's attention. That this beautiful Jensen Ackles lookalike is the one to show up for their date, is something she can't believe. And he's apparently as fascinated by her as she is by him. What will it take for him to convince her that he's the real deal?
I do love me a man who falls first! Callan definitely falls headlong with Lilian, is OTT possessive and in love, is sweet and honestly the kind of man all of us would love to have his full attention. Lilian is a relatable heroine - who hasn't felt invisible in life before? Thank God she found Callan, because from day one he was prepared to slay all her dragons and right the wrongs the people in her life had done to her. This writing duo makes a great combo, cannot wait for more from them in the future.
