Includes Man in Charge and Man in Love.
The Sebastians own this city. Hell, they own the whole world. All I want is one little piece of it, a corner that I can call my own.

So when my boss runs away to “find herself”, I seize the opportunity and dive head first into the Sebastian’s glamorous universe. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted - fast paced and high stakes - and, even though I don’t fit in, I’m excellent at faking it.

Until I come face-to-face with the man in charge, Scott Sebastian, the arrogant playboy heir with the mind of a devil and the body of a god and a mouth I can’t stop thinking about. He’s infuriating. He’s a distraction. He’s the man who wants me in his bed as much as I want to be there.

And, if I get too close, he’ll be the one person who could expose me for what I really am - a fraud.

MY REVIEW

Tess thought she heard a kitten mewling. What she actually heard was a woman having a lot of fun. She should have left immediately but the gorgeous man at the center of it was someone she couldn't keep her eyes off. Now he's prowling toward her at the party they're attending (one she isn't really supposed to be at) looking at her like she's a snack. She knows he's trouble but she's having a hard time resisting, as she's wont to do with the wrong kinds of men. But when he turns out to not only be a Sebastian, but also the man in charge of the company she's pitching, she knows she has to keep things professional, as hard as it will be.

Scott knows Tessa thinks he's in charge but the way he feels about her is giving her all the power in this relationship. What she doesn't know, though, is that there's someone else even more in charge of his life than either her or himself. His dad, who's got him over a barrel. What will happen when Scott tells her his big secret?

Laurelin's men are all so alpha and commanding. Scott is both these but with a slightly vulnerable side that I love. He's of course dirty and delicious, but he has also a lot going on underneath his dominant exterior that isn't obvious at first. Tess brings it out in him and it plays against her own vulnerabilities perfectly. Their chemistry is fire, they both have quite a bit of character growth, and there are some equally interesting side characters whose stories I'm about to dive into (Brett!)

About Laurelin
With millions of books sold worldwide, Laurelin Paige is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author. She is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however.

When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Killing Eve or Letterkenny, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She's also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn't do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio.

She is represented by Rebecca Friedman.

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
