Lina is about to get rid of her pesky v-card, and the man who's helping her is sure to be an expert. Unfortunately, he's also a total ass and jets before they can do the deed. Now she's at her mom's wedding and lo and behold but her almost guy is also there. He's...wait for it...her new stepcousin!!! Yikes. And he's still an ass and now that they're realizing they have to be around each other he's even more of an ass. But also still hot. And apparently as into her as, well she is into him. But forbidden and all that means they have to keep their whatever it is a big secret because his dad and her stepdad are brothers, rival brothers. Yep talk about complicated!
Oh God but I love Lina! She's sassy, funny and awkward af but seriously adorable. Reid stood no chance of resisting her adorableness for long, and when he fell, damn did he do it in delicious, alpha fashion. Their snark and banter really set the tone for this installment of Brutal Billionaires, and it's a nice change. Yes Reid is an alphahole like the rest of his family, but he's not really of the ilk of say a Donovan Kincaid. His family? Yes definitely. But Reid is somehow less dark but equally yummy. Only someone like Lina would really be his perfect partner because she kept him on his toes and made him realize what was really important. I'm not sure if I like the Sebastians, well, most of them at least, but I love Reid and even more so Lina, who's a Sebastian even if not by blood. I'm seriously excited for Alex's story next and we'll see if he's more his brother Reid or his cousin Holt, when Brutal Arrangement releases.
