MY REVIEW

The one night Erin let herself have some fun without being the good girl, and who does she choose? The guy who isn't in town for long, who doesn't put down roots, and who definitely can't or won't, offer her anything more than one night. But when the consequences of that one night give them something permanent, Cole will either need to step up or get out of her life completely.

Cole is still regarded quite warily by his small hometown. Even his dad doesn't think much of him, so he knows damn well he's not good enough for Erin. Nor is his job, and the consequences of that job, conducive to anything resembling permanent, the permanence that Erin deserves. So taking himself out of her life is the only answer, right?

Oh Cole! I wanted to smack him more than once because his back and forth was maddening. I can't believe Erin put up with it, with him, actually, but love makes us all do things we wouldn't normally. His backstory is pretty heartbreaking, though, and goes a long way in explaining why he makes the decisions he does. By the end, though, I was really happy they got on the same page, and Cole redeemed himself. Can't wait for the next couple in Serendipity to fall in love now.
