Release Date: October 5
Fake dating my gorgeous new neighbor is perfectly fine. Until we start breaking all the rules...
Did I have to flip off my sexy neighbor the first time we met?
Probably not.
But who in their right mind leaves their boxes by the elevator for two weeks after they moved in?
Did I have to kiss him after I trashed said boxes and he caught me red-handed?
Also no.
Though it certainly wiped that cocky smirk right off his face.
So what if it goes well with his broad shoulders, sparkling eyes and that package in his sweatpants, I pretend not to see.
Even though I totally do.
I mean, I hate men in grey sweatpants.
The first two encounters were embarrassing. But asking him, on the third one, to fake-date me is pure insanity. But I desperately need to appease my terminally-ill father.
But the bigger question is why would he agree to such an outrageous proposal?
Yet here I am, rocking a fake relationship with the mysterious billionaire Dominic Cressard.
Rushing between my charitable endeavors and my father’s sick bed, we set a ton of rules to make it work.
Then we start breaking them.
One by one.
The lines blur.
And what should be fake feels suddenly real.
Dangerously real.

MY REVIEW
London and her new neighbor's first meeting isn't exactly positive. She's annoyed because he's left his moving boxes in the hallway for weeks, and he doesn't react well to her telling him to bring them into his new apartment. But there was chemistry, a spark, and it's that which stays in London's mind. And the reason she asks him to fake date her for her ailing father's sake. Neither of them is looking for a real relationship, but they may just find out that fake doesn't stay fake when their kind of chemistry exists.
Dominic's on leave from his high powered attorney position, for both his mental and physical health. When his new, obnoxious neighbor, whom he can't deny being seriously attracted to, comes to him with a fake dating scheme, to put her father's mind at ease, of course he's in. Though he's not really in the market for a relationship, he falls first, falls hard, for London. But he's going to have to fight to get past her walls, the ones that guard her heart from the pain she suffered when her former love passed, being the whole reason she runs the hospice she runs, and the reason she behaves the way she does.
Dominic's one swoony billionaire! I love that he falls first, and does all the fighting for them. I have to be honest, I never really liked London. Her issues created a pretty unlikable character, and her behavior, though explained by her backstory, is ridiculous. Dominic is amazing enough to elevate this story despite her awful behavior, so 4 stars is definitely warranted.
